MEET OUR NEW LEAD PASTOR

We have some exciting news to share!

After what seems like a very long season of searching, it's with great excitement and honor for us to share TVC has found our new Lead Pastor! The Lead Team and Board of Directors have made the unified decision that Keith Brown is the person who will lead TVC into our next chapter. We would like to extend thanks to those of you who have been praying throughout this entire process. Prayer works- and God has answered in a big way by leading Keith, his wife Jen, and their kids to TVC. Please continue to pray for the Brown family as they take on this new season; and please choose to support, pray for, and come alongside Keith as he leads TVC to continue our mission of being a serving church for unchurched people and connecting people with God.

Scroll down to watch a video and read about Keith and his family and their hopes for the future.

Meet the Brown Family

They have 4 amazing kids: Alana (14), Benjamin (13), Christian (9), and Delaney (7).

He has 20+ years of ministry leadership experience and is excited about bringing his experience, passion for people, and passion for the local church to TVC. Some of Keith's hobbies include: reading, basketball, watching college football, and anything adventurous.

The Brown family is looking forward to making the Barry County community their home and getting to know all the amazing people throughout this wonderful area.

In Keith's Words

LOOKING BACKWARD

When I think about Thornapple Valley Church, here are the words that come to mind: “backward” and “forward”. Reflecting on the 41-year history of Thornapple Valley Church, I feel blessed to follow in the footsteps of great founding pastors like Jeff and Ann Arnett. Their commitment to Christ and passion for the unchurched has made Thornapple Valley Church what it is today. I am so grateful that they continue to invest in TVC through their prayers, support and Jeff’s teaching.

LOOKING FORWARD

Not only do I look backward to what TVC has become because of Jeff and Ann’s leadership, I look forward to what it can be because of YOUR participation. I wholeheartedly believe that the best days of TVC are yet to come! The Apostle Paul’s words come to mind in Ephesians 3:20, in which he writes:

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us”

This is what I see in our future: GOD DOING MORE! MORE people coming to know Christ, because we will be a church that continues to be committed to sharing the message of Jesus in a way that makes sense to the unchurched. MORE impact in the community, because we will be a church that will be intentional about loving our neighbors as ourselves. And lastly, MORE personal and spiritual growth because we will be a church that does everything in our power to relentlessly practice what we preach.
