I Dare You to be Successful
Redefine success.
Joshua 1:7-8 says “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
Our version of success must first include spiritual success. What does this look like? In Mark 12:30-31, Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Success is measured by love for God and joyful obedience to His commands. When we make this our first priority, operate in our strengths and gifts, develop our potential, and allow God to work through us, we will see success.
Here are some ways you can develop your potential.
