WHAT TO EXPECT
IN THE MORNING we will be partnering with Life Builders to help reclaim, rebuild, and empower the Detroit Community. Life Builders has helped restore over 80 residential and commercial properties, made early childhood education available so parents can work, provided Christian education opportunities to neighborhood youth, met emergency needs during times of crisis and so much more!
IN THE AFTERNOON we will jump in with Life Remodeled that helps revitalize the neighborhoods of Detroit. This year we will be in the Cooley High School neighborhood helping with much-needed blight removal and beautification around the neighborhood. Activities include cutting overgrown brush, mowing grass, and removing debris.
IN THE EVENING we will head back to the hotel for dinner and several different fellowship opportunities such as a euchre tournament and a worship night!
EDEN GARDENS UPDATE
This year, we will not be attending Eden Gardens. Rather, we will be working with a new organization called Life Builders in the mornings and Life Remodeled in the afternoons.
